I will tend to dribble on a little in here so feel free to read on or run like crazy from the potential boredom and mushiness that may follow.... for other 'people watchers’ like myself, there is just a little something in knowing what makes folks tick. Here goes...
Lets start with a FAQ...Where does MiJeMoo come from and what's with the caps? My ruggies are Michael (Mi) & Jessie (Je) and since they arrived we have referred to them as the Moo's.... and so was born MiJeMoo.
MiJeMoo could well have been the name of any company Braddo and I branched out into.... our background is Print, Design & Retail. Having friends who scrap and a desperate luv of photos and photography (little actual talent but very keen and have friends in the right places who support my addiction...meet my Kylie), we headed into scrapland...what a journey, I am luving every twist and turn. A natural step really considering the other leg of us is our family printing company Fourmada Printing. We needed a name for our design company.... so was born MiJeMoo designs.
Now to the team.....
I am Tracie a mid 30 mum of 2 awesome moo's...one blue, Mikey & one pink, Jessie. I am a self-professed workaholic. My day job is in our Family business and after the kids go to bed.... I become the creative leg of MJM, not quite single handedly...all of the folks I am about to introduce you to have a bunch of input into what you guys end up with. I scrap myself and often build papers around my requirements. Alternatively, we receive many requests and suggestions of themes, which we do consider and follow through where possible (so keep them coming).
Next it all heads towards Braddo. This is the poor bugger that actually does have to live with me! Braddo & I have been together for about 17 years now and we actually still really really like each other (I know I know it's disgusting). Braddo is the mechanical leg of our art team, I keep throwing it at him and he just ploughs through it all. I luv him & Luv his work!
Next introduction is Short Redhead..... DW (We'll get to her) also refers to her as BP...you know 'the quiet achiever'. SR is my mum. She looks after print runs, orders, ME!, you know....she is a super mum who runs a business, keeps all of us in line and makes sure things run as smooth as possible whenever possible. Oh by the way, she may not introduce herself as 'short redhead' for some reason..you may hear her say Marg...and lets not confuse that with Marge as in Simpson...Just Marg!
Then comes Lady! Lady is commonly known as Nell or Aunty Nell. Lady is a good friend of ours who has been working with us for some 5-6 years. Lady is actually the longest scrapbooker/papercrafter among us. Many years ago Lady invited me to a home scrapbooking party...one could say, I just didn't get it! (Aunty Nell will be giggling right now along with Kate and Debbie who may remember the day) Anyways here we are quite a few years later...running a business in the craft. Lady is just awesome, she leaves me little notes and tries her best to keep me organised!
Now we get to Pa....he who likes to be known as the truck driver. Pa AKA Steve...is the guy who makes all the wheels turn (Literally) keeps we women mainly on track and inline so we let him think. Pa runs our printing company and becomes roadie for MJM occasionally. Bodyguard on the occasional late late finish, general maintenance man and cabinet/office builder for all MJM requirements.
Flash AKA Wazza (my big bro) would be the next on the list.... it is a little difficult to describe what Wazza does, occasionally he is a paper engineer, guillotine operator, design team member..and the list goes on. Our older bro (Grier) has a bush band called Simply Bushed. A short time ago, we finished his most recent album cover. Arriving at the appropriate area to post required credits and thanks messages...we came to Wazza, Grier simply stated...'Thanks for keepin' stuff up to us'... those of you who have taken a class with DW & I would have heard that statement once or twice! 'Stuff' can include... Zero, chocolate, V, Food, Newspapers, Tape, Texta's.... you name it with flash on the mission he'll track it down..... Luv your work Uncle Flash!
Ok, now I get to DW....DW is my partner in crime. When referring to her, Pa will enquire if 'the other half of Trouble' will be attending. We bounce almost everything at almost all hours of the day and night... we are rarely together just spend much time on the phone and msn..(This is our new luv..mmm msn file sharing..) DW and I make a good team but am quite sure we make things a little difficult for those working directly with us as we tend to understand each other perfectly with all around us thinking we are collectively MAD. We move at a pace that mostly only Short Redhead can keep up with.
Can you tell I’ve taken over…Braddo’s at work and I’ve got the site….Yippee
If you actually got this far…I salute you! I warned of boredom and Mushiness….brace yourself here comes the mushiness…
On a personal note, we have had a lot of comments far and wide that many folks are enjoying what we do…. I get to have all of the fun, attend the events and basically run amok wherever we go…often with these guys back at work doing the do…I could not do what I do without all of them!
Family Friends Colleagues, whichever hat they’re wearing….. I’m a lucky girl!
Collectively we make a pretty good team and work really well together, we look forward to throwin’ more at u!
